Helping patients directly: Daily life and the future of Parkinson research

In Germany, there are more than 300,000 people suffering from Parkinson’s disease, and the numbers are growing. The World Parkinson’s Day on April 11 raises awareness for research and new developments in the neurodegenerative disease.

Even if it’s only little things that I can do to help my patients, I find it really rewarding”, says Gasser.
