A donation for Parkinson's research
For further research into Parkinson's disease, the Center of Neurology recently received a donation from Siegfried Heep.Using the pseudonym MICHA, he has created a big collection of paintings over the years.Recently, he has exhibited and sold his works in a doctor's office and decided to donate the income of 5,000 euros to the Parkinson's team of the Clinic of Neurology, which runs together with the HIH the Center of Neurology. “It is through the Parkinson's disease that I have discovered painting,” Heep says. Painting helps him to deal with the disease–working on the paintings in his studio, he can forget about his illness.Kathrin Brockann, head of the Parkinson`s outpatient clinic, gratefully received the donation.
