Neuropsychology Outpatient Clinic at the Center of Neurology of Tübingen University Clinic

In addition to motor and sensory impairment, stroke often leads to cognitive or affective disorders. These disorders affect attention, perception, memory, language, intelligence, planning and action, problem solving, spatial orientation, or sensorimotor coordination.

The prerequisite for designing a treatment strategy, which is effective and tailored to the patient’s particular needs, is a careful neuropsychological evaluation of the specific pattern of disorders. This evaluation is based on standardized examination methods and psychological performance tests offered by the Neuropsychology Outpatient Clinic.
